Eye Contact

EYE CONTACT

Dogs are not people
They’re different

They don’t really want to shake your hand

They like to be approached from the side
Not the front

And direct eye contact can be threatening
And result in a counter attack

So here’s the question:
How can we reduce dog bites?

Simple.
Give every dog a smart phone
And teach them to text

They’ll never make eye contact again.

Back on stage

Having just completed his second booking at the Fetterly Playhouse in Vallejo CA, Warren is feeling his oats. Inspired by the Olympics and all the Russian snafus that has entailed he lead off his performance two nights ago with a rousing rendition of PUTIN ON THE FRITZ.

One of his poems, METEORS, can now be seen on YouTube by CLICKING HERE.

Ball Theft

This morning my friend KT got carried away having her tummy scratched.

She was so blissed out that she paid no attention to her two coveted blue balls. Her big sister Cassie took advantage of this fact to abandon her four tennis balls and enjoy a scritch of her own with those tasty stolen balls in mouth.

It doesn't get better than that.

Swami Sniffananda

People are always asking me where I come by all my wisdom and fundamental canine cool. Well the fact is I get a lot of it from hanging out with my guru Swami Sniffananda. The dude is always tripping on the fragrances of the inner planes, not to mention dead skunks on Petaluma Hill Road. Some day I hope to be as cool as him if and when I ever achieve full dog realization.

Dodging a (coal) bullet

I tried exercising my Fifth Amendment rights with Santa but he wouldn't buy it. After I copped to all the stuff I've done in the last year he still hugged me anyway. That fat guy's all right. (Even though he bore a troubling resemblance to that weird proctologist who's always following me around)

A Dog Park Christmas

JINGLE BONES

Dashing through the grass
Chasing lots of balls
Crashing into folks
And laughing if they fall (Ha ha ha)
Pooping everywhere
Getting into fights
What fun it is to laugh and sing
A dog park song tonight

(Oh) Jingle bones, jingle bones
Lots of squeaky toys
Oh what fun
It is to run
And make a lot of noise
Jingle bones, jingle bones
Lots of squeaky toys
Oh what fun
It is to run
And make a lot of noise

A day or two ago
I found a puddle deep
I jumped and splashed around
And made my owner weep (Boo hoo hoo)
When they got me home
They washed me for an hour
And since I ate a lot of grass
I threw up in the shower

(Yea!) Jingle bones, jingle bones
Lots of squeaky toys
Oh what fun
It is to run
And make a lot of noise
Jingle bones, jingle bones
Lots of squeaky toys
Oh what fun
It is to run
And make a lot of noise

Meeting super fan Parker

Warren dragged us along to Jenner over the weekend to meet two year old fan Parker who rewarded him with two sticky stars on his nose. It doesn't get better than that.
